Tesla shares more details on HW3 upgrade path – retrofits, microfactories, and discounts

Tesla has outlined its plan to upgrade older Hardware 3 (HW3) vehicles for customers who purchased Full Self-Driving. The strategy includes using microfactories for retrofits and offering discounts on the upgrade. This means eligible owners will have a clearer path to access newer FSD capabilities.
